Grant funding started at around 32,500 in its first year of 1992
When attempting to secure funding I attended a meeting where democratic influence was high. Upon mentioning the Idea to the funding group a prominent person recommended we put child care center in hospitals next. The comment was intended to discourage and I was young but still felt very insulted as was the intent. After the meeting a nice young man stopped me and told me he thought my idea of placing a child care center in a school as a great idea!
