The Sitka Tribe of Alaska opened early voting on October 28 for its Tribal Council election, using a new electronic voting system. Seven candidates are running for five seats, and Election Day is November 10. If your tribe or committee is thinking about online voting, ask who runs the system, how votes are checked, and how members without internet can still take part.
