Writing and reliving the denial of “Quality of Life” from “Indian Gaming Proceeds” had led to quite a miserable outcome. The disappointment is unbearable and makes no sense.
For some odd reason, I continue to attempt to promote tribal members “running things”, while most of them laugh and scoff at me when I try to buy a beer at the local convenience store.
Or send BIA Police here to tell me to stop crying about TERO and shut up.
People think I raped people for stopping the theft. That is still promoted today! False Allegations are not easy to forget. And legal representatives still remind people that I was falsely accused, to deny me work.
I don’t need content to write about, I live it.
Why?
My Dad Wilsey, a Korean War vet, taught me to be this way.
Sadly, a horror story became the result of living for the tribal member first.
One of my standout denials in being promoted. Came after working security for a few months. Everyone knew I had organized the casino workforce, which made things difficult.
A pattern of intentional denial is obvious, but I get harassed for trying to use the tribal court.
I submitted for a transfer to a different role, increasing my hourly rate by 25 cents.
The job description came down and was modified with the “current” experience. This meant experience older than 3 months was not a factor and would not be considered.
I was eliminated, again.
The person who got the job was a lesbian, white lady. But I am the one who got discriminated against and eliminated on the “tribal reserve.”
DEI had been part of my life for some time now.
Off to finish this story of denial… with my Master of Business Administration degree (GPA 3.77).
