What We are Looking For

Cultural Reflections – Thoughts on seasonal traditions, language learning, or historical memories.

Community Reflections – Graduations, birthdays, new arrivals, or wedding announcements.

Photo Submissions – High-resolution shots of local scenery, community events, or traditional crafts.

Youth Voices – Poems, school reports, or artwork from students from Nah Tah Wahsh and surrounding schools.

Photo Guidelines

Quality – Please send original files (not from Facebook, they lose quality).

Permissions – Ensure everyone in the photo has permission to be featured.

Captions – Please include a brief description of who is in the photo and where it was taken. 

Word Counts

Shorts Updates – 50-150 words (milestones)

Feature Articles – 300-600 words (interviews and cultural stories).

How to Submit

Email – Send your text and photos to potawatomilife@gmail.com

Subject line – Please use: Submission: Topic – Name

Deadline – Submissions are reviewed on the 15th of every month for the following month’s digital feature.
