Daily Grant Watch: Entrepreneur Grants. New grants and funding for Native entrepreneurs and small businesses. Potawatomi Life Magazine.

It was a quiet couple of days for new funding. Here are the new items we found, starting with one built for Native-owned manufacturers.

For Native entrepreneurs

SBA Empower to Grow (E2G) manufacturing training awards
The SBA’s Office of Native American Affairs gave $9.5 million to two training providers: Navajo Technical University ($4.5 million, serving New Mexico, Arizona and Utah) and Chippewa Sustainable Solutions in Belcourt on the Turtle Mountain reservation ($5 million, serving North Dakota). They will offer free courses, workshops and one-on-one advising for small manufacturers that are 8(a) or HUBZone-eligible, covering operations, workforce skills, compliance and government contracting. This money goes to the training hubs, not to individual businesses. If you own an eligible manufacturing business in those states, contact the hubs about joining. No deadline was announced.
